Welcome to the Website of the Orff-Schulwerk Forum Salzburg

The Orff-Schulwerk Forum Salzburg was founded in 1983 as a public non-profit organisation. It works in close relation to the Carl Orff-Foundation, the Carl-Orff-Institute, the Orff-Center Munich and the international Orff-Schulwerk Associations.
The Orff-Schulwerk Forum Salzburg is supported by the Carl Orff Foundation.

The purpose of the Orff-Schulwerk Forum is to provide international information and exchange about the work with Orff-Schulwerk.

The Orff-Schulwerk Forum is publisher of the bi-annual magazine Orff-Schulwerk Informationen covering current themes of Elemental Music and Dance Education as well as reports from the international Orff-Schulwerk Associations.

Forum (lat. market place), in antiquity the city centre, a meeting place for people to talk and to listen, for trading and gathering. Today, forum is a platform open for specific questions, for exchanging experiences and opinions.

The issue No. 85 with the main theme "50 Years Orff Institute 1961 - 2011" has been published in July 2011. This issue has been a special issue accompanying the exhibition "50 Years Orff Institute" that has been shown in the foyer of the Mozarteum University, Salzburg from May 31 to July 10, 2011.

This book (304 pages) can be ordered for EUR 10,- (including shipping costs within Europe).
