Welcome to the Website of the Orff-Schulwerk Forum Salzburg

The Orff-Schulwerk Forum Salzburg was founded in 1983 as a public non-profit organisation. It works in close relation to the Carl Orff-Foundation, the Orff-Institute, the Orff-Center Munich and the international Orff-Schulwerk Associations.
The Orff-Schulwerk Forum Salzburg is supported by the Carl Orff Foundation.

The purpose of the Orff-Schulwerk Forum is to provide international information and exchange about the work with Orff-Schulwerk.

The Orff-Schulwerk Forum is publisher of the bi-annual magazine Orff-Schulwerk Informationen covering current themes of Elemental Music and Dance Education as well as reports from the international Orff-Schulwerk Associations.

Forum (lat. market place), in antiquity the city centre, a meeting place for people to talk and to listen, for trading and gathering. Today, forum is a platform open for specific questions, for exchanging experiences and opinions.
